Hustle Approved Chocolate Donuts

Finally, a treat you can eat and not feel guilty about! Yummy!! This recipe makes 6 donuts: serving size is 1-2 donuts.



1/2 cup chocolate protein powder (must be whey concentrate)

1/2 cup almond flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

3 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons coconut oil

1 egg white


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly coat donut pan with coconut oil.

In bowl, mix all dry ingredients together. Add all wet ingredients and stir to combine. Scoop batter into pan (batter will be a little loose, but not runny) Bake for 13 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

*It's important to note that the protein powder used in this recipe must be whey concentrate. Using other powders will result in a rubbery texture and the donuts will be very dry. Do not eliminate the oil in this recipe, as this is what helps keeps the donuts moist.

If you would like to add a little something, melt 2 tablespoons dark chocolate morsels and 1 teaspoon coconut oil. Drizzle over donuts - yum!
